We landed today at Keflavík airport. What was remarkable was how flat the land was. Similar to the tundra in northern Manitoba there are puddles and rocks everywhere but not a tree in sight. The makes for a unique landscape.
As we were driving to Grindavik we drove over a old lava flow making the terrian look alien like, similarly to the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan.
